Invitation to the annual press conference

At its annual press conference, Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden (SKD) will be introducing its exhibition programme for the year 2023. Members of the media are cordially invited to the Fürstengalerie at Dresden’s Residenzschloss at 10 a.m. on Friday, 4 November 2022. The event will be recorded and will be placed online in the press section afterwards. The Dresden musician Felix Räuber (who once fronted the band “Polarkreis 18”) will be performing as an introduction to his project on the sounds of his native region, “Wie klingt Heimat, Wie klingt Sachsen?” (The sounds of home; the sounds of Saxony).

Dirk Burghardt, Commercial Director of Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden

Ludger Weskamp, CEO of Ostdeutscher Sparkassenverband (OSV – East German Savings Banks Association) in Berlin, representing the Sparkasse financial group

Wilhelm Schmid, Managing Director of A. Lange & Söhne
