The deadline for applications is 30 June 2010. Incomplete applications cannot be considered.
A Selection Committee will decide upon participation.
FEES
In 2010 the full costs for the course will be EUR 2000.-. Scholarships are available and are intended for candidates who are unable to pay the fee personally or whose organisation / institution cannot support them in full (see below under Scholarships).
The fees include single room accomodation, meals, travel by private coach and steamer, admissions and tuiton. Not included is the cost of drinks.
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendations are confidential, and should be submitted in a sealed envellope with the name of the applicant written on the front.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE AND PAYMENT OF FEES
All applicants will be notified by the first week of July, 2010. If awarded a place, an invoice will be sent and a deposit of EUR 250,- should be made at this time. The balance of fees is due, without further notice, by 15th July 2010. These payments should be made in Euro to Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden by bankers draft or bank transfer.
Participants are strongly advised to insure against cancellation as no refunds will be made following payment, unless the place can be filled by another suitable candidate. In such a case, an administrative fee of EUR 50,- will be applied.
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS
Scholarship funding is limited and is meant to support candidates who otherwise could not participate in the course. Applicants are requested to ask for full or partial financial support from their organisations /institutions. A statement of financial need must be supplied when scholarship assistance is wished for.
The Academy reserves the right to amend the study program should this prove to be necessary. The participants will be informed as soon as possible.
